Trip through Utah, Idaho, and Oregon

Photos and Notes from Day 4, Tuesday, June 21

Prev. Day
We started the day at Boulder City and headed for Hoover Dam between Nevada and Arizona.  It is very impressive and we took a ton of photos.  We headed toward Zion National Park and over-nighted in Hurricane, UT.

The 30-mile stretch we rode through Arizona was breath-taking.  The first half winds through deep canyons sculpted by the wind and rain.  A harbinger of the national parks we will soon visit.

It was HOT! all day and will be so tomorrow.  108 degrees, breaking my personal previous high riding temperature by one degree.

We stopped and each bought a new mesh jacket at the Harley-Davidson Dealership in Washington, UT.

The time at the two sides of the dam may differ.

Remember, Arizona has no day light savings.
