Visiting Rogue River - Siskiyou National Forest last year
where members can win prizes by visiting cities, counties, states
amd misc other places to win points by taking photos of those visits.
This year, Harley-Davidson and the HOG organization has completely
changed the spirit of the activity. No longer collecting letters of the alphabet,
this has been changed to be a purely mileage based test.
I am woefully disappointed. I thought the previous activity was a lot of fun
and required a great deal of research and planning
as well as just riding for great distances to attain these goals.
I have decided that I will continue the idea of collecting city letters, etc
in spite of what the company has decided to do.
It is actually rather nice not to have to adhere to their rules
